Title: :  Research in Paramedic Services: A Panel Discussion on What Paramedic Leaders Need to Know to Support Research and Implement Findings

Session Description

While most paramedic leaders in Canada are supportive of more research being conducted and have a strong desire to use evidence-based practices and decision-making, many express that they are unsure of how best to enable studies in their service or how to make changes to policy or practice that is reflective of updated research findings.

Be sure to join this engaging and interactive session where PCC delegates will have an opportunity to ask questions and engage in dialogue with three experienced paramedics who each bring a unique perspective to these topics. Delegates will leave this session feeling more informed and empowered in how they can support research and use evidence in their leadership and paramedic services.

We welcome delegates to submit questions ahead of time related to the topics of how to support the conduct of research in paramedic services, how to grow research capacity, and how to make changes based on research findings. Please email your question to kellynash@paramedicchiefs.com  by midnight on June 2nd, 2024.
